Spread Kindness: Easter Workshop Part 1

Date:Saturday, April 11, 2009 1:00 PM

The Goal: To reach out with a positive loving gesture to complete strangers with whom we share this world. No strings attached.

Location:
Recycle for Breast Cancer
31 Beta Ct., Suite C
San Ramon, CA 94583

The Event: Usually on Easter, you’ll find kids running around looking for Easter eggs.

At SpreadKindness.org, we want EVERYONE to receive a little kindness on Easter.

What To Bring:
- Plastic Easter Eggs (Walmart usually has 'em for a good price)
- Bag(s) of wrapped candies (small enough to fit in eggs, and no chocolates, please - it might melt)
- Colorful paper, scissors, pens, markers
- Colorful tissue paper
- Your bright ideas :-)

We’ll fill the eggs with candies, inspirational messages and kind notes. We encourage you to bring your kids, friends, and family. We’d like to assemble as many eggs as possible, so we can give a lot away.

As a group, we will be putting together Easter eggs to distribute to people on Easter Sunday in Oakland.

This is a Two-Part Event: Part 1: Saturday, April 11 - Assemble Easter Eggs in San Ramon
Part 2: Sunday, April 12 - Distribute Easter Eggs & Kindness in Oakland

It’s not mandatory to make it to both days, but if you can, that would be GREAT!

If you can’t make it to the Saturday event, you can help by bringing eggs you’ve assembled yourself on Sunday.

RECYCLE FOR BREAST CANCER If you have old electronic stuff (ie., Cell Phones, empty ink cartridges, digital camera, PCs, etc.) that you would like to recycle - bring them with you! Recycle for Breast Cancer is a non-profit organization that will recycle them for FREE!!
